Hello!
I'm a father, husband, brother and son. My hobbies include learning about new tech/electronics, playing video and phone games, watching movies/tv shows with my family and being active outdoors (playing sports or hiking)! The reason I decided to become a life coach is because my dad struggled to care for himself and ended up passed away from depression at 45 years old. I believe that if he had the right support/resources he would still be here today.
I don't want anyone to feel alone in their journey! I enjoy supporting others in order to help them grow and become best self. My work experience began with yard work, followed by a position at a grocery store. After high school, I focused on labor-intensive roles such as home remodeling, landscaping, and working in a distribution center. Following five years in retail at a drug store, I transitioned into the banking industry, where I discovered my passion for finance. Over the past 10 years, I’ve built a diverse career in the financial sector—starting as a teller, advancing to a banker, then becoming a performance consultant, a branch manager, and most recently, supporting small businesses.
How did I become Arteee? Well, when I started my job at U.S. Bank, there was a way to create a nickname on a platform that didn't seem to have many people using it. I wanted to have a fun name to say and remembered being called Artie in high school. I held down the 'e' key on the keyboard after typing 'Art' just to see how many would stick! And it was probably closer to 5 'e's when I stopped, but anyways, that ended up moving over to the directory where everyone in the company could see my name as Arteeeee. Plus, when you hold out the e's, you can't help but smile :)
In 2016, I was down in the dumps and didn't want to fall into the depression that my dad struggled with. I utilized friends and family as an escape outlet to help me through the hard times happening in my personal and professional life. As I continued my search for growth, I fell in love with self-development. I created a daily gratitude journal, became more intentional with my work outs (in order to take care of my body), read self help books to understand what other options and tools are available, journaled and wrote down my thoughts/what was happening in my life, created vision boards of a future I wanted to have, meditated and enjoyed the silence in life, and lastly I practiced daily affirmations in order to verbalize what I wanted and manifest that "everything is always working out for me"!
It is easy to get consumed by the day to day and it is not always easy to step back, reflect and enjoy the experience of living life to its fullest! If you are looking for a change and want to meet, I am happy to hear your story and how I might help you become the best version of yourself!
